Alia Jyotsna is a player character played by Chris Young and is currently involved in the Setareh Wing plot.
Height: 5'7” Mass: 125lbs Measurements: 36 - 32 - 34 Bra Size: B
Build and Skin Color: A somewhat tall, but thin and lithe build, that's a hallmark of her particular subculture, the Eyr Ranr. Alia's skin tone is a soft, but by no means flat brown shade.
Facial Features and Eye Color: Alia has very angular features, a sharp nose bisecting her face equally. On both sides are sharply tilted red eyes that shine with both intelligence and drive. Then again, people would know what her eye color would be, if it wasn't for the fact she almost always keeps her mirrored work goggles down over her eyes.
Hair Color and Style: Alia keeps her grey hair short. It saves on maintenance and also keeps it from getting caught in anything.
Distinguishing Features: Alia has a pair of slender horns growing out of her head like all other members of her race. Her particular set follow the arch of her skull and as such keep out of the way and unlike others, don't get snagged on her clothes.
Personality: Alia is all about Maximums. Maximum power, maximum speed, maximum determination. She hates things half done, as much as she hates faltering and weakness. If anyone showed weakness in her presence, she would make it her mission to dismiss those feelings with assurances and declarations that a strong will would not fall to anything!
Likes: VANDRs, hard work, burning passion, determination. Dislikes: Weakness of any kind, mechanical or emotional. Goals: To prove, with the proper equipment, and the proper pilot, that a VANDR can be an unstoppable engine of Power.
Adil Jyotsna (Father), Abla Jyotsna (Mother). Bahiyya Jyotsna (Younger sister), Azhar Jyotsna (Younger brother), Duha Akash (Second “Father”), Ananta Farah (Second “Mother”),
Alia was enamored with the VANDR since she first saw them, which was back when she was just a child, her airship had suffered a drive failure and was slowly coasting into a mountain when a squad of VANDR appeared out of the clouds and mass jumped with the ship to the surface. Since that day, she was obsessed with the Biomecha. She collected figurines and models of them, she collected pictures of them, she collected everything related to VANDRs, and when she was allowed to pick her profession, it was with little doubt what she'd pick.
She spent several years learning and training in the profession of VANDR maintenance, and upon graduation, she quickly enrolled in the Vanguard. That was four years ago. She's been spending her time maintaining any and all VANDR that are asked of her.
Alia has an indepth understanding of the technologies employed by the Astral Vanguard, and is scarily skilled in the techniques behind their repairs. She understands the separate methods behind doing those repairs on both organoid and conventional technologies. Though she admits she has put forth more effort to understand the organoid technology due to her personal bias towards VANDRs.
Due to her upbrining on an Eyr Ranr airship Alia can devise numerous ways of implementing old technologies to suit just about any need or situation. She is confident enough to claim the ability to retrofit older equipment with newer or more appropriate hardware should the situation demand it. Alia also has a passion for developing new applications for technology and as such is always tinkering with things.
Alia is partly proficient in both defensive and offensive hand-to-hand techniques, focusing more on defense and evasion then offensive techniques. As well as the use of several hand weapons, including knives, pistols and light explosives such as grenades. She is in good physical form, with sufficiently high endurance to survive situations such as elevated G-forces. Though she dislike the feeling of multiple G-forces so she'd rather take her time unless it's Sky surfing.
Alia has had extensively extensive courses in the use of NI systems aboard the Organoid craft employed by the Astral Vanguard, and understands completely how to properly utilize her own entry ports to interface with compatible systems. The use of standard-issue electronic devices and conventional computers have also been a part of her education. She finds the sensation of the integration ports to be somewhat ticklish.
Alia is capable of using all standard communications found in the Iromakuanhe Astral Commonwealth, in particular those employed by the Astral Vanguard. This includes laser, radio and MASC-enhanced variations in various formats and media. She is fluent in Saalsari and Haidasari, and can speak, read and write it correctly. She can communicate clearly even while under fire or in other unnerving situations.
Alia was trained in the standard first aid and field aid topics covered in Vanguard training and has moderate competency in administering said aid should the need arises.
Alia is an avid Sky surfer and actually holds several minor records and titles from her airship family. She owns a personally modified Ahdmida Sky board and wind surf board. She's a largely technical flyer and has many hours of surfing under her belt.
Alia Jyotsna is currently a Senshirin in the Astral Vanguard. She receives a weekly salary of -salary- per week.
