The GB-3 Cesa'was is a Graviton Bomb of the third grade, in terms of not only damage but collateral damage. The GB-3 was put into service in EE 002.

One of the numerous Graviton Bomb, the GB-3 was developed by the Navy to serve as a surface buster based weapon, in that it is usable against large numbers of enemy forces or against groups of enemy vehicles. The weapon combines a number of different metals including, but not limited to, Lithium, Cerium, Potassium, and Sodium Borohyhydride. Other minerals, including Uranium, can also be added to generate a radio-active cloud; although when added this makes the bomb unusable in populated areas.

Bigger than the two bombs that come before it, its nearly 25 feet long with an altitude trigger mechanism that lights two graviton charges, ensuring that the bomb detonates within two feet from the ground or upon impact with the surface.

Neshaten Soldiers have come to refer to it as the Surface Buster, because its explosion creates large cracks in the earth within two hundred feet of the epicenter, which can further create hazards for enemy soldiers. Upon detonation, a crator can be anywhere from six feet to over twenty feet wide and five to sixteen feet deep.
