Addressing the initial problems of social integration of the Artificial Nepleslians within the Reds' population, the Athena Foundation geneticists started looking more long term. The Nepleslian Reds were a people built and created for war at its core. But with no one to fight, their need to display martial prowess begun turning inwards with a surge in creating and joining militias. Combined with deary living conditions and tough working conditions, the psychological health of Red clones was not good.

With the military leadership not bothering the deal with the issue, many clones turned to petty violence, alcoholism, and Yamataian entertainment and artificial_nepleslian to cope. Singers and idols are especially popular with male (and even females who like to mimic them) blue collar workers. But the foundation started to become concerned that the lack of Red idols might lead to a complete adoption of Yamataian culture and a resulting lost of Red identity with how enamored the Reds were with Yamataians. Thus the Ame-no-Uzume Type was created from the standard Nepleslian clone stock that was increasingly becoming only used to refresh the genetics of the Artificial Nepleslian lines.

The most unaugmented of the Reds' Artificial Nepleslians, they have more in common with Gen 1 clones than their fellow Artificial Nepleslians. Not that any of them pay any attention to that when watching an Ame-no-Uzume Type performs.

One of the key adaptations is the enhancement of their interpersonal skills. Driven by hormonal modifications, Ame-no-Uzume Types have a manipulation of their neurotransmitter levels, such as serotonin and oxytocin. This allows their musculoskeletal system to be 1.2 times denser than the baseline human. They also have an enhanced cardiovascular system with a stronger heart that operates at an efficient 54 beats per minute at rest thanks to modifying genes responsible for cardiac muscle function to contract more efficiently and greater strength. The sinoatrial node, the heart's natural pacemaker, has also been modified to ensure a steady heart rate while active. This translates as individuals being capable of lifting 1.1 times their body mass.

Ame-no-Uzume Types do not typically receive extensive physical or cybernetic augmentations. Their primary enhancements are genetically driven, focusing on personality and mental abilities.
