The Akko Rotyusapo is the newest firearm added to the Poku Saeruo Degonjo arsenal. It became available in 752 CY (YE 33).

The Akko Rotyusapo is the smallest of the Akko (coil) weapons. It is an anti-personnel weapon, designed for close combat, for use in combating NMX parasites, who board their ships as well as infected people. It has a maximum effective range of 100m.

The Akko Rotyusapo has two receptacles for inserting a stabilizing hand grip on each side, to accommodate the user. The Akko Rotyusapo can be operated without the side grip, but accuracy is better using one. The status indicator is located toward the rear of the weapon which gives the user a clear indication of the weapon status.

The trigger is built into the rear hand grip, and the 30 round magazine inserts in front of the hand grip.

In addition to holding thirty thirty rounds, the magazine also houses a rechargeable power cell that powers the weapon. It also contains a small cylinder of inert gas that is used to help keep the gun coils from getting too warm.
