A form of detection using electromagnetic waves projected in all directions. These light speed waves continue to travel until they strike matter and then bounce off. Radar equipment is specifically designed to project and catch these waves, decipher the data, and display the results to operators. Because of this, Radar can easily be interfered with by chaff, debris, or even dust clouds. In space, Radar is mostly used in close-range navigational or search situations.

Because a station doesn't move (other than orbital free fall), Radar is solely used to keep track of close range objects. These can range from EVA teams to docking space craft.
