A large facility built to contain the command and control facilities of large warships like Carriers and Battleships, the Large Bridge contains facilities for both enlisted personnel and officers. Four “pits” are spread out evenly in the forward section of the bridge. The forward port pit is the “Astrogation Pit” holding the Astrogation Officer and two supporting enlisted personnel. This section is responsible for plotting courses through both normal space and hyperspace. The forward starboard pit is the “Flight Control Pit”, which holds the Chief Helmsman and two supporting enlisted personnel.

The two pits behind the forward ones are dedicated to Tactical Operations. The Port Side Pit is dedicated to Weaponry and has enough space for one Tactical Officer and three supporting enlisted personnel. The Starboard Side Pit is delegated to Electronic Warfare with an EW Officer and the same number of support personnel.

In the center of the bridge is a raised platform which holds the Captain's Chair. This allows a Captain to be directly in the center of the action, which can raise morale in stressful situations. The Captain's chair has only a small arm console where the other pits can transmit reports directly to the Captain.

Two more pits are located behind the Captain's Chair. The Aft Port Pit is delegated to Communications and has a single Communications Officer and two supporting enlisted personnel. The Aft Starboard Pit contains a Weapons Locker and First Aid Station. Exits are located in the aft section to both port and starboard with a Abwehran Fire Suppression Locker next to the port one.
