The lowest rank of Command Officer, Leutnants are individuals who have graduated from Officer's School to become a fully Commissioned Officer of the Assault Legion. A Leutnant is often placed in command of an infantry platoon, armored squad, or Aerial Squadron. In Specialized Regiments, Leutnants are often placed in charge of smaller groups.

The number of Leutnants on the Table of Operations normally ranges between 4320 and 4752 due to the various sizes of specialized regiments.
