This is a modular component of the Geshrinari Shipyards - Spaceports design. A Geshrinari Shipyards construction dock is designed to be used for building, upgrading, and overhauling starships, or for performing major repairs on the same.

The construction dock, unlike the other spaceport components, is fully enclosed to provide a quality-controlled area for construction. The floor has a series of retractable rib braces that hold onto the hull of the ship being worked on. There are movable cranes on the ceiling of the module that are used to lift starship pieces or construction equipment into position. There are light arrays along the walls and ceiling of the berth to provide illumination for safe working conditions.

The dock is also equipped with extending platforms that can be positioned around the ship to serve as scaffolding.

At either end of the dock is a prep-room. This is where new ship components, hull sections, or system modules are staged for installation. The prep-room is typically connected to either manufacturing areas or to cargo areas where ready pieces are stored.

These docks are typically restricted to ships with maximum lengths or widths of 500 meters or less.
