Work on the NO-T6 shuttle started in early YE 36. The purpose was to come up with a concept that would replace the earlier shuttle designs that had limited commercial success. The design team finally selected the concept of a shuttle that could be readily customized by adding or swapping components.

The NO-T6 has a simple, functional design featuring a long, ovoid body and two wings, with propulsion systems mounted on those wings. the interior is highly-modular, allowing for components to be quickly and easily installed or uninstalled.
