Yazhu Kang is an NPC controlled by GM Firebrand who appears in Tripathi's Tyrants. He is the Platoon Sergeant of Second Platoon, B Company, of the 555th Marine Battalion, AKA Tripathi's Tyrants. Nicknamed Gunny for ancient, arcane reasons, he's the rock of the Platoon, the one that keeps it a well oiled machine.

Yazhu Kang is a career Space Marine, and has seen service in many of Nepleslia's military engagements throughout his career. Around 40 years old, Yazhu is short at around 4'10“ tall, with bronze skin and an arrogant look about him; though it is the kind of arrogance that comes from training and knowledge of one's skills. He has a round face with a cleft chin, a small nose, large ears, defined cheekbones, and large lips. His hazel eyes are puffy, with well groomed eyebrows. Gunny has short brown hair styled into a high and tight that connects to a full beard and mustache combination.

Despite his height, which you do not mention, Kang's got almost the stereotypical physique of a marine. A muscular neck, wide shoulders, with strong arms ending in large hands; combined with a narrow torso with chiselled abs, round hips, tone legs, and big feet. He's covered in tattoos, from a skeleton tattoo on his neck to complex patterns on his hands and a tattoo of a dragon and tier locked in a mutual kill on his back.

Even with this fearsome appearance, Yazhu is actually approachable and friendly, if blunt and tactless. He has a complete lack of ability to worry about the emotional state of his marines, and tends to be stingy with them, but he cares about their safety and well being. If the Lieutenant is the father of the Tyrants, Yazhu is the stern mother.

Yazhu Kang is the Platoon Sergeant for the Tyrants, and tends not to talk about his relationships. It is known that he had a wife, though they've long since separated; they had a daughter out of it, and Kang cares deeply for her.
