Personality: Seu can be considered friendly, quiet, inquisitive, articulate, and is known to exhibit a dry sense of humour. He is generally a nice sort of chap, polite to the nines, but can be quite firm about duty and responsibilities. While not being terribly revealing about age, he behaves in a mature, somewhat paternal manner, and performs his tasks with grave sincerity. While philosophical and thoughtful, Seu is usually mistaken for a pacifist, though occasionally he hints at a rather frank and bloody past. When encountering violent situations, Seu exercises a calm ruthlessness and determination that is exemplary of an efficient soldier.

Seu (SAY-yoo) was originally a soldier, having engaged as a field medic and specialist in various low-key police actions in remote areas back home. After a particularly difficult incident in a war-torn desert nation, Seu decidedly turned his back on soldiering to pursue a focused career in medicine. This led to an enlisting aboard the NSV-Gam'Trosha, where he hopes to leave his past behind. Of course, you can take the soldier out of the fight, but not the fight out of the soldier…

As a formally educated member of his species, Seu can read and write in various home languages, including old Shukati and Mylena. He is also fluent in his active tongue, Tinacen.

During his career as a soldier, Seu started out initially as an ambulance driver before picking up skills as a field medic. From there on, he engaged in many military actions out in the boonies that required long-term separation from known bases and supply posts. From his superiors and unit mates he learned a broad variety of survival techniques, most of which involved highly-coordinated teamwork.

Lacking hands, much of My'leke CQC involves teeth and claws. Formal military training has allowed Seu to be efficient with what nature granted him, and further equipment training enabled him to be accurate and decisive about long-range combat as well. The weapons pods designed and employed by the My'leke military complex can be physically demanding, and therefore requires patience and discipline to operate.

Seu's grasp on chemistry extends largely towards his biological studies, though he occasionally dabbles in astrochemistry as well. Otherwise, his level of competence does qualify him as a forensic technician and investigator but he is not of the level where he can invent new substances.

Seu maintains a strong knowledge of various biological studies including genetics and xenobiology. Having a strong foundation in such research allows him to diagnose and treat a myriad of species, particularly the Daur and Laibe, and to be aware of their unique pathologies and requirements.

Having developed a keen understanding of various physiologies and their quirks, Seu eventually turned his interest towards medicine, where he earned a broad range of ontological flexibility thanks to the acquisition of prior skillsets. He can perform necessary surgery, medium to high-level surgery, a little bit of cosmetic surgery, basic first aid, and can treat a wide range of common to unusual diseases and disorders. Also, most My'leke surgeons know how to install basic cybernetics. Whether or not Seu knows anything about neuroscience however is anyone's guess.
