Gwendolyn Queen joined the Star Army at the age of 21 in YE 41. After graduating from training, Gwendolyn was stationed on Cosmos Star Fortress where she served as the primary secretary for communications, serving as the initial point of contact for all calls to the station.

In 3月 YE 42, she was promoted to Nitô Hei. During the Kuvexian Advance of YE 42, Cosmos was destroyed¹⁾ and Gwendolyn was ordered to abandon ships. She escaped in an escape pod and landed on the surface of Scrapyard System's single, airless planet. After a while in the escape pod she activated the stasis feature to avoid running out of air. Unfortunately, Kuvexians located the pod and took her into captivity.
