Ha'lei Tela'kuro is an NPC controlled by Syaoran who appears in the Bloody Claws (She'na Academy) plot.

A young Daur just barely out of infancy with her hair often up in twin buns and her large amber eyes beaming with curiosity. She often times speaks very loud since she can hardly hear her own voice. Despite this, she tries her best to live a normal life without letting on that she can't hear as well as others, but it comes up if you spend a lot of time with her.

Ha'lei does not know her real parents, as they both passed away before she could really remember anything. When she was adopted the health inspection determined that the child was hearing impaired and that it was likely that she would lose her hearing as time went on. As such she and her family learned sign language to communicate better.

The young girl stood out in her early classes, displaying a great aptitude for art, so much so that she was invited to She'na Academy because of it. Along with this invitation came some funds, and though it was not enough to correct Ha'lei's hearing totally, partial corrective surgery was performed and her hearing has improved. However she still needs her sign language when there is background noise or people are speaking softly.

• Communications: Speaks Tinacen (Language) though her vocabulary isn't great, and she's just really learning how to write. She is proficient in sign language as well, though she doesn't like to use it. She also can read lips some what.
• Knowledge: She knows basic laws and social etiquette, even if she doesn't follow the etiquette often. She also has an exceptional memory and can remember even complicated things fairly easily, if she is paying attention.
• Mathmatics: Her mathematics is appropriate for her age.
• Fighting: Ha'lei knows how to protect herself some people of her age, though she doesn't know how to use weapons well. She does have her own 'special attack' that she calls the “Vi'maran Flip” where she attempts a backlip and kicking a person in the chin at the same time, usually she just falls on her back, but some times she kicks them before then.
• Art: Ha'lei is very skilled when it comes to art, particularly drawing and sculpting, when her exceptional memory with her ability to transfer mental images to a medium, she is capable of recreating rather elaborate things.
