Her lithe body has natural curves in all the right places and is a lightly tanned cream color. Her shoulder-length hair is the color of [[items:drinks:coffee with cream]], just like her mother. She usually wears it down with medium-length bangs. Her heart-shaped face has round ears, a small nose, and rounded eyes the color of copper against honey.

Sadie is excitable with a fiery spirit normally, and many could describe her as a bit childish especially if she doesn't get her way. When put into a serious situation however, her personality shifts to be more like her mother's: calm and collected. Growing up in a predominately man's world has given her a slight distrust in the opposite gender, and she can come off as a bit cold towards them at times until she gets to know them better.

Whenever she gets mad or flustered, Sadie's cheeks blush slightly and puff out cutely. This is usually an automated response to someone treating her like a child still. However, this can be taken advantage of as she usually becomes extremely motivated to prove them wrong.

Likes: Baking, her mother, collecting plush toys. Dislikes: Being treated like a little girl, her mother, uncontrollable events. Goals: Prove to her mother and everyone else that she can be a great starship captain and eventually escape her mother's shadow.

Sadie Ravenarc was born in YE 20 on the marshy world of Kennewes. She lived there with her father until he was killed during the Kennewes Offensive. Due to her mother being deployed, the young Ravenarc was taken in by her father's relatives, but they treated her more like a burden rather than a child. Fortunately, this part of her life did not last long as the Nepleslian military managed to wrangle her custody rights back into the hands of her mother in YE 32.

After the last few horrible years, Sadie had a difficult time opening up to her mother, and her upcoming rebellious teenage years along with puberty did not help matters. However, their relationship had steadily improved by the time her seventeenth birthday came around. Although her mother's tiring affection never seemed to cease, she would secretly come to enjoy the attention and miss it dearly in later years. After graduating school, it was a simple decision to join the Nepleslian Star Navy and follow in her mother's footsteps into the stars.

The prestigious Steelwood Military Academy was a complete culture shock for the somewhat sheltered girl, but she persevered nonetheless. Graduating at the top of her class was no mean feat, and Sadie earned her mother's pride upon her officer commissioning. Although her mother was ironically retiring around the same time, she introduced her daughter to the legendary Admiral Violetta De Luca, who would be a great mentor to the young Ravenarc in her early years of service.

Ensign Ravenarc would serve aboard several smaller ships and learn first hand what it takes to command NSN warships. Despite the fact that she had been doing an excellent job on her own, Sadie perceived her mother's influence when she was picked up for orders to the newly formed NSN 1st Expeditionary Fleet upon promotion to Lieutenant. Others believed this was the case as well, and many of her peers would consider her relatively young to command her own warship. However, she vowed to prove them wrong when given command of the NSS Sickle to accommodate her new rank and position within the fleet's Task Force "Farthest Stride".

She is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Trade (language). She can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

She received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons she is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry), and rifles of all kinds. She isn't physically strong, however.

Being a naval officer, she is trained to lead her crew in offensive and defensive boarding actions.

She can understand and give out tactical commands and work with her people to follow those commands efficiently. She knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). She is able to recognize ambush points, knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.

She is a decent public speaker, but her physical stature usually belies her command presence. Her Nepleslian subordinates would rather obey the officer bars instead of her as a person. Having yet to prove herself as a leader, her subordinates are looking to see if she is indeed qualified to be a starship captain.

She is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to starship operations. She has basic knowledge in how to pilot the ship, use communication devices, operate ship's electronic system, etc. She has a very strong knowledge of the artificial intelligence on a starship and can utilize it to assist her operations on the ship, although this knowledge applies only to the application of the AI, not the repair of it.

She knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. She can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

She knows how to bake cakes, pies, and a variety of other sweet things. Baking sweet pastries is definitely her guilty pleasure in life. However, she will be quick to deny it if anyone asks!
