Build and Skin Color: Edward is thin and the little muscle mass he does have is wiry and hardly noticed. His skin is a surprisingly blemish free light mocha.

Eyes and Facial Features: Edwards eyes are big and brown. He has a very hawkish looking nose on a very thin face.

Hair Color and Style: Edwards black hair is kept short and parted down the middle. He consistently pushes down a persistent cowlick on the crown of his head.

Distinguishing Features: Beyond the very thin build and face Edwards key feature is his meticulously kept mustache. He often twirls the ends up in a very Machiavellian manner. He uses a lot of mustache oils to keep it shiny, healthy and in place.

Personality: Edward tends to put up an outgoing outer shell but is easily seen as someone who never wants to fail. Trained originally in Naval Electronic Warfare he was used to having all information available. After gaining his certification as a Naval pilot his transfer was swift. He has not logged many flight hours but brings with him an immense amount of knowledge.

His friends know him as a friendly, funny nerd. He can be sarcastic in a playful way and likes helping his teammates however and whenever he can. He is easily bullied however and will back down when face to face. It's obvious his past is filled with all the proper points that has affected his self-esteem.

Edward grew up in a middle class family. He wasn't on the bad side of the tracks but he wasn't on the rich side either. Life was rather typical for Edward. He saw his parents work hard for him and his brother. They went on vacations every so often, saw his extended relatives and so life wasn't all bad. Family life was easy, his fatehr was a banker and his mother did accounting at a business. Even Edwards bigger older brother was following along with an interest in the chemical sciences.

Edward's interests were in computers. Their easy accessibility led to him understanding them from a very young age. Of course his small size and his bookworm lifestyle led to most of his school life being bullied. It affected his self esteem as you would think but he soon saw that as just a part of his life. He became rather good with computers and mathematics. While hacking wasn't a huge draw for him he still learned the basics while coding programs and filtering data.

He entered college with a bright future in computer work or mathematics. He studied hard and came to know many of the teachers. As time in college went by however Edward started to get bored with the mundane aspects of school. He made his opinions clear to his mentors and was recommended to look into the Nepleslian Naval Intelligence. They would finish his schooling, pay him and give new and more in depth opportunities.

With Edward's test scores he was eagerly recruited and dedicated to various computer oriented occupations. He has worked as a computer technician, programmer and finally an analyst for several top secret projects. As an analyst Edward interacted with several starship operations where he first noticed that they seemed pretty exciting. He became interested in flying and committed much of his off duty hours to learning to fly. He even called in a few favors from other Naval officers to teach him and get him training time.

Lucky for Edward, a new initiative was being proposed. A flight of Ace's being brought together to form a highly skilled, diverse and efficient task force. With this in mind, Edward approached his superiors with the idea of a computer specialist being apart of the program. After many meetings and discussions, Edward was given permission to test into the pilot program. While his physical flying scores were mediocre, he ended up gaining entrance into the program through his technical and simulator skills. Thus, he recieved his new posting within Aquila Flight as an Electronic Warfare Specialist.

Edward is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. He is fluent in Nepleslian, Yamataigo and Seraphim. He can speak and write them correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Edward is also skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

Mathematics have always been a talent for Edward. It was a skill easily accessible due to his parents careers. He quickly found that math was simply in his blood. He was doing complicated, in depth mathematics well before others of his age. His understanding of advanced mathematics encompass pure mathematics, theoritical and applied mathematics.

Edward is a subject knowledge expert in the field of computer operation. He is able to effectively use computers to the limits of their capacity. He can run analyses, do drawn out computations and program complex routines and sub routines. He is knowledgeable in anti hacking software to include firewalls, virus protection and malware diffusion. These anti hacking skills also aid Edward in being extremely good at the opposite, ensuring he has a wide array of hacking tools, tips and tricks.

Early on in Edward's naval career he started as a computer and IT technician. He was trained to both maintain and repair a wide range of Nepleslian technology. He can build a computer from parts and jury rig other electronic functions if needed. He has a talent for finding work arounds in wiring and systems. He most recently has added these basic skills to include starfighter maintenance.

Edward received limited training in both hand to hand and the various weapons of the Nepleslian Navy. While able to use knives, pistols, grenades and rifles, Edward was never overly fond of these activities. He was also trained to use various power armors but has never had to, or wanted to use one.

Learning to operate starships was just another technical skill to Edward. Combining his aptitudes in technology operation and mathematics he was able advance well into this newer field for him. Most pilots use a neural link or a center stick, Edward however chooses to use a split keyboard and number pad. He uses it in a fashion similar to a comouter game. He can add more complex maneuvers through advanced calculations allowing precise movements. This certainly has it's drawbacks however and he is able to use more traditional methods.

Edward can understand and give out tactical commands and work with others to follow those commands efficiently. He knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, understands his particular role and duties and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). Edward is able to calculate quickly best routes for attack and retreat when it is feasible and is able to sometimes anticipate attack patterns based on numbers and trajectories.
