Darux Gashil is a player character played by Brett.

Height: 7.9 feet Mass: 321 lbs Build and Skin Color: He has the heavy bodybuilder muscle build. His skin is slightly tanned.

Eyes and Facial Features: His eyes are mismatched (Right red/Left dark gray) in color and he has a typical longer face. His face seems almost twisted into a permanent scowl, with his eyes narrowed.

Ears: His ears are rounded.

Hair Color and Style: He has long black hair that turns red around the end. His hair is unkempt and reaches down to his shoulders.

Distinguishing Features: Burn wound have scarred his right arm during a weapons handling course in which someone forgot to put on the safety. He didn't let the surgeons take away the scars when they tried to, though weather it was out of spite or for a personal reminder, he doesn't say.

Personality: Darux Gashil is not a trusting type, nor is he friendly to those he does not respect. When forced to work with a team he does not know, he will remain silent and study the methods of everyone he could. Those in the infantry he takes liking to when they perform well in a fight but with those who give him orders, he listens to their orders and tries to test the limits of their orders. He takes a liking to them if they give out very strict assignments with no margin for error as well chaotic orders. He looks down on civilians who do not know how to defend themselves, more often then not staring at them with a disapproving look. With civilians he always prejudges them as unable to fight. Though he may not seem like it, he is a VERY patient man. If ordered to wait, he will wait until called (once he was left overnight in a trainer's office due to a 'wait here' command). People have noted odd behavior with Darux a few days before he left training. He would pin someone with a gaze filled with cold fury and walk up to the person until he was nose to nose, the whole time looking the victim strait in the eyes. Then he would burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. When asked about it, he says that it is a personal joke, though how he came up with it, no one really knows. He seems to be filled with an everlasting cold rage, which he directs toward the enemy when engaged.

Likes: Normal and high gravity planets. Enjoys working out in a gym or maintaining his equipment. He also likes seeing people caught off guard, weather he caused it or someone else. Dislikes: Low gravity and zero-G planets or space stations. Dislikes people who try to deceive even though they have been caught as well as intoxicated fighters who have nothing better to do than try and start a fight. Goals: Seems to be looking for someone, though who it is he is not sure of. His primary goal is to get the best equipment for himself and his team.

Shortly after getting out of the cloning station, Darux was immediately put into a training camp. He learned the basics of being a marine with ease, though he took to both close combat and explosives. Though he glares at any who gives him contradicting or orders that have no purpose, (At least to him) he will do no more than that to friendly soldiers or those who holds rank over him. He has recently made it to private third class and has gotten out of the training camp. Some at the training camp may say that Darux has bad luck, though he has learned a lot due to trial and error.

Darux received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons he is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. The character can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. The character is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. The character is also able to pilot land-based power armors, but must rely on the suit’s A.I. to do anything advanced

Darux is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in Nepleslian. He can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. The character is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc)

Darux wonders how each person will act in a situation. He very much enjoys taunting the enemy, trying to see what will drive them crazy or what will make them run. He remembers each result and continuously tries the same things on others to see how they react.

Darux can understand and give out tactical commands and work with his troop to follow those commands efficiently. He knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). The character is able to recognize ambush points. He knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.

Darux knows how to survive in hostile environments. He can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. Darux can camouflage himself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

Darux can identify, handle and dispose of any explosives within the Star Military of the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia. Though not as good at disarming alien explosives, he is very accurate with hand held missile weapons.

Nothing fancy, a few scrapes or a bullet wound is probably the extent of his knowledge on medical. None the less, a useful thing to know on the battlefield.
