Kassiopea is short, and since she is a freespacer, her actual age is deceiving. While she is actually nine years old, she is physically equivalent to a 18 or 19 year old. She has a diatom configuration of three small blue crystal lines on her lower cheek, fanning out from her jaw, and a design of a large spiral on her upper back. When wearing normal shirts, the top of this design is visible. It is blue and crystalline in nature. Kassiopea has long, flowing blond hair that reaches to her middle back. Her eyes are slate grey with flecks of red-orange in them.

Mentally, Kassiopea is very smart, if very naive. Very curious about new things, Kassiopea hunts down the answers with disregard to how akward she just made the conversation. Despite this, Kass is able to tackle programming problems and make critical decisions without holding back. This makes her a very interesting character to hang around. She likes to have fun and tries to make fast friends with nearly everyone she meets. Even though she likes to hang out with people and go to parties, she hates alcohol. Despises it even. The simple fact is that she hates the taste of nearly all alcoholic beverages. Admittedly, she has a large sweet tooth. She likes candy alright, but her favorite is lemonade. While it is slightly bitter, she thinks this accentuates the sweetness that accompanies the bitterness. Not a very cautious person, Kassiopea disregareds laws and etiquette fairly regularly, however, she knows when that a little discretion is required. Even so, Kassiopea is not a klutz; she is quite balanced and is agile as well. However, this does not mean she is not an airhead at times. She can be found lost in thought and will jump when disturbed. Kassiopea is a very good artist, as most Type Three Freespacers are, but the art that she makes is not always seen by others as art. Often, people squint at what she draws and try to take some meaning away from it and fail to. Kassiopea chuckles at these people, as the art never really represented anything in the first place. Often, what she draws is abstract.

As soon as Kassiopea was born, she was given an accelerated learning and was able to mentally mature at a very young age, as nearly all freespacers do. However, Kassiopea took to flying at a very early age, and has loved the freedom it has given her. Once she was part of the general societal collective that is the freespacer community, she was given many jobs to test her skills in many areas. While she excelled at communications, computer proficiency, and even hacking, they found that she was best at flying. Unfortunately, they didn't have many jobs available for piloting, so Kassiopea was forced to fly in her spare time.

Kassiopea lived on the freespacer mothership until contact was established with the Nepleslians. Afterwards, she made her way into Nepleslian society with an implant to keep her irradiated and subsequently not dead.

Now, she is aboard the Horizon's Key as it's pilot and making many new friends in the process.

Since freespacers are born from a genebank, Kass never knew her parents.

Starship Operations: Living in starship environments her entire life, she naturally learned quite a bit regarding starship architecture and related systems. In a pinch Kassiopea can fill a wide range of roles.

Mindware: Kassiopea had basic neural tech installed at birth for childhood education. This may be used later in life to accelerate learning ability, allowing a Freespacer to learn a skill in a fraction of the time it may take most humanoids. This also provides a small digital memory bank, allowing one to privately record and store memoirs, or share these with others. Finally one can download reference books or instruction manuals into this digital memory, giving others the illusion that a user knows much more than they truly do.

Vehicles: Kassiopea has learned to pilot many different types of vehicles during her life so far and can learn to use new ones in a very short amount of time. She has never tried piloting a power armor, but she would like to someday.

Technology Operation: Kassiopea has known her way around a computer for her entire life. She is better at hacking than most, and can search for information very quickly.

Art and Vocations: As a Type Three Freespacer, Kassiopea is quite inclined to be creative. She can draw well and make pieces of art out of many materials. She can even sing, even if it is not that great.

Maintenence and Repair: Kassiopea has an understanding of how to repair machinery and to keep them running efficiently.

Culinary: Kassiopea has learned how to make food. While very nutritional, it is not usually something you would want to eat every day. However, this is not due to a lack of skills. Rather, it is her objective to keep everyone in prime shape. Nevertheless, she whips out amazing and tasty dishes for celebrations.
