An inexpensive carbon based fuel created from waste carbolite with 40 times the fuel density of coal. Properly refined (into 'high grade' dynamond), it can also be used as a very cheap high-explosive for use in mining excavations and controlled demolitions or to release specific compounds into the atmosphere.

Produced as a side-effect of carbon-capture, this makes dynamond plentiful on any 'greenhouse' world - ideal when terraforming and colonizing and also producing a useful product to sell to help develop markets on a new world.

It was created in early YE35.

Alternatively, Carbolite can be reprocessed cheaply into a chemical with 40 times the fuel density of coal - dynamond. Cheap to produce, it is ideal used as explosives. It can also be powdered and suspended in a liquid substrate to burn in combustion.

While aesthetically interesting (hence the name), it serves very little functional purpose beyond being a cheap and dense explosive used in mining operations and exported.
