A step beyond existing portable reactor technology, the Axis Hybrid Core is the amalgamation of a lobotomized Aurora Mechanism (due to its inherent instabilities and dangers) and an accelerated muon catalyzed fusion reactor which feeds on the Aurora's waste products.

The result is dependable reliable energy that can 'dial down' from the large sensor footprint of Aether, still continue to produce antimatter, bosons and muons as well as a respectable electrical output.

The result is antimatter without the instability of an antimatter bottling system, the ability to optionally 'dial down' away from the large sensor footprint of aether and an energy recovery system efficient enough to male the muon catalysed fusion reactor viable on such a small scale.

The system actually runs on

These products (antimatter, bosons, muons) are either stored in internalized condensers or in external condensers for later use where they accumulate. Particularly, the bosons (X and Y respectively) are known as 'aurora twin particles' and have a number of interesting military uses.

Most systems that make use of the products require an activation prerequisite. In use, systems, particle count may drop, though it is replenished by condensers and the hybrid core. If the prerequisite isn't met, the system crashes and stops working until the systems demands are finally met.
