The Qaktoro are the dominant species of the Poku Saeruo Degonjo since they first encountered and subjugated the Tula on their mutual Otâgolisoy (Birth world). Qaktoro (pronounced khăk-tō-rō) are bipedal, and their ancient feline ancestors resembled jaguars, panthers, leopards. Qaktoro is the singular form of their name in their language. The word is used to refer an individual, or to the Qaktoro race as a whole. The plural term of the word is Qaktoroi.
