These are the dedicated people who gather information, upload to, and maintain the Scientific Studies Service (SSS) - Gakuin (Library) . They are responsible for loading data, cataloging, and verification, and cross referencing. The librarians also travel to various libraries, universities, and museums. Where possible they acquire original copies of research material. If it is not possible to acquire originals, then they make digital copies of the originals to bring back to the library.

Librarians also operate the physical repository where the hard copies are kept, and ensure that the contents are protected from damage.

Librarians work in concert with the Scientific Studies Service - Acquisition to handle legal matters of acquisitions.
