While being called a 'cargo hold', the extra small cargo hold is little more than a large closet at the size of five meters in height, and being at most a ten meter large square area, but usually being merely two to five meters square. Due to the small size of these cargo compartments, they are usually reserved for personal use, or for the storage of temporary mission related equipment on small starships or in smaller installations.
