Specifically designed for a Fusion Capable Continuum Distortion Drive (FDD), the standard FDD Room holds the core component of the device. On board warships, there are normally two FDD Rooms. These rooms are labeled Main FDD and Auxiliary FDD. Both FDD rooms are normally closer to the central axis of the warship to protect it from fire, but this is unnecessary for civilian craft.

A Abwehran Fire Suppression Locker and a First Aid Station are located near the entrance.
