This is the starting grade for Administrator and Liaison persons in the Scientific Studies Service (SSS). Persons in this grade are entry level Tansaku crew members and instructors. The pin is a silver rectangular bar with one empty rounded rectangular indents and three gold inserts in the first through third position.
