The first and only Laser Cannon designed to be used by infantry; it is unwieldy and heavier than most infantry weapons. Due to this fact, the ILC-01 can only be used as turret emplacements to defend stationary positions or attached to the shoulder adapters of a Dämon Infantry Power Armor. The weapon is powered by a Fusion Cell Battery located on the back of the barrel and is replaceable if the need arise. However, a second person would be needed to replace the battery if the ILC-01 is attached to a Powered Armor. It is rarely used at all currently due to the fact that it's only application is in heavy assault or defense. These types of operations are usually reserved for wartime situations and therefore the Infantry Laser Cannon has seen no combat time at all.

Weaponry Tests though prove that the ILC-01 is very efficient in both the anti-infantry and anti-vehicle sense. One round in stream mode can puncture through the Abwehrans' most modern armor as if it were tissue paper. Though it is still unknown if it will be quite as effective on armors of more advanced civilizations, the designers of the weapon claim it will do quite fine. Even so, the Imperial Government has ordered the designing of more Infantry Laser Cannons in the future.
