Macrowave Panels are a highly specialized and powerful weapon system found on certain types of mechs fielded by the Shasta No Sekai corporation. Unlike most of the corporation's weapons, the Macrowave Panels emit microwaves that can not only disrupt and disable enemy systems and sensors but also cause significant damage to organic matter, making it a highly effective weapon against both enemy troops and vehicles.

Macrowave Panels were originally developed by the Shasta No Sekai corporation in YE 45 for use in mechs during combat. Their goal was to create a weapon that could cause significant damage to enemy troops while also disabling enemy technology such as Deathcrawler Auto-Tank and rival salvage corporation mecha. The Macrowave Panels accomplish this by emitting a powerful burst of microwaves that can overload and disable electronics, sensors, and missile guidance systems, as well as inflict harm on organic matter.

The first prototype Microwave Panels were created in YE:45 by the Shasta No Sekai corporation. After extensive testing and development, the panels were finally integrated into mechs for use in combat. Microwave Panels are extendable panels that can be mounted on a mech's arms, shoulders, or fuselage. When deployed, the panels are approximately 2 meters long and glow ominously with EM and microwaves.

Macrowave Panels do not emit visible light when fired but instead produce a powerful electromagnetic pulse that can disrupt and damage enemy electronics and systems. The panels have an effective range of 500 meters and can fire continuously at a single target area. The recoil of the panels is negligible and is little more than a felt vibration inside the mech. Macrowave Panels are weak against shields and can be disrupted by strong counter-electromagnetic fields.
