Originally designed by NovaCorp to be the secondary weapon for the Kante these are designed to both take down incoming missiles and to deter ships, using high powered focused electro-magnetic beams that are in the high X-ray range. The beams are targeted by the AI with surgical accuracy, and are used to a devastating effect beyond that which would be normally considered by their power. Due to its nature it is particularly dangerous against electronics and organics and is capable of piercing through armour relatively easily.
