The Kante is a ship from the NovaCorp, made to lie along the borders and to sense and to deter potential hazards crossing the border. The Kante is a mix between advanced technology (for NovaCorp) and the need for them to be mass produced. It appears to be a large black disk, covered with small black modules, and small protruding sensors (although the vast majority of them are inside for protection).

The Plan A version of the Kante is modified by NAM to carry additional interdiction technology and modified communications network software. These units are not produced by Nam, but are sent to NAM as the original Kante station so that they can be modified.
