The Magpie-class Industrial shuttle was created as a way for the Mining Guild to transport a huge amount of ore including both metal, and gemstone ore from the mines on planets or asteroid fields, to the Dragon-class Mobile Refinery, to change the ores into either metal, or gemstones.

The Variants for the Magpie-class Industrial Shuttle are designed to handle the environments of alien worlds that are hot like volcanic lava worlds, arid desert worlds, and frozen cold ice worlds.
