The Galactic Horizon Bubble Blower was built in YE 40 as a cheap yet effective form of personal shielding. The simple design is made up of a Galactic Horizon energy core mounted to a shield projector with a simple on/off switch in between, all wrapped in a stylish metal canister.

The grenade resembles a nondescript metal cylinder 23cm in length and 8cm in diameter, there is a small red switch 2cm from the top. When the switch is flicked, there is a half-second delay before the bubble shield deploys, the power core is able to sustain the suit for up to 4 hours or until the shield has reached its threshold.

The shield itself is a translucent sphere with a yellow tinge to it, the bubble will short-circuit and deactivate if it comes into physical contact with another bubble.

The power core can be easily removed through the bottom of the canister and replaced by another Galactic Horizon energy core as an alternative to requiring a recharge.
