More fragile-looking and diminutive compared the the majority of Abwehrans, Johanna Rosenthal is barely into her adulthood at the age of 7 Abwehran years old (~25 Earth years). With lightly tanned skin and bright blue eyes, its easy to see that she is the rare mix of Night-dweller and Surfacer that has come to symbolize the Royal Family. She wears her light brown, waist-length hair down until she has to travel. When she does, her hair is normally put up in practical styles ranging from buns to simple braids.

Though current in Abwehran fashion, Johanna doesn't realize that she has begun to set current fashion trends in the world with her own style. Appearing to the general public in conservative dress, the young Johanna mainly wears knee-length and longer skirts with a blouse when out in public. However, she has a habit of touring military facilities in a civilianized version of the Armed Forces uniform, only in different colors as well.

She does have formal attire to wear depending upon the event in question. Parties involve night gowns of pleasant coloration, while political events bring out a formal tunic and khakis.

The only child born to the current Empress and Emperor of the Abwehran Star Empire, Johanna has constantly lived within the public eye. Raised behind the walls of the palace and shown to TV crews, she has developed a strong distaste for ceremony. Currently, she is attending the Great Imperial University in Unterwasserstadt, but she has time to leave and tour some of the Abwehran Military's major bases to boost morale now and then.
