Build and Skin Color: Vathr'dal has a slender build. He never really spent time on working his body,preferring to study and learn as is the norm with house New Tur'lista. His skin is pale and Caucasian.

Eyes and Facial Features: Vathr'dal has a slightly tapering face, ending in a strong chin. He has almond shaped eyes that are a pale blue. He has a thin nose and average lips that are often drawn into a slight smile.

Ears: Vathr'dal has plain human-looking ears with lobes still attached to the jawline, like most New Tur'listans.

Hair Color and Style: Vathr'dal has straiaght white hair that goes down to the base of his skull. He keeps the sides tucked back behind his ears.

Distinguishing Features: Vathr'dal has the standard jet black wings of the Lorath that go down to his hips. He also has cybernetic hands to enhance his ability to operate electronic systems, pilot spacecraft, and also tinker with various devices. They improve both the strength of his hands by 80% and their steadiness.

Personality: Vathr'dal is a very relaxed person, not easily shaken under pressure. He is also a very open person, and is willing to act as a sort of guidance counselor for anyone who needs it. He picked up this trait early on in life when his brother and sister both used him as confidant. He is very friendly and honest, wanting to find a peaceful solution whenever possible. He is not opposed to violence when it is deemed necessary, though.

Vathr'dal grew up as the youngest child of an engineer and a senator. He had two older siblings, both of whom cherished him. He was placed into a rigorous tutoring program at a young age, where he showed special aptitude for engineering and inventng. He also began to act as a confidant for his brother and sister, listening to their stories and offering advice. His parents saw that he had adopted the best of their traits, and decided to step up his studying.

When Vathr'dal was 30, his father took him to see engineers designing spacecraft. He immediately became fascinated with the idea of flight, and began learning all he could about it. When the Occhestian's split from the Matriarchy, his family stayed loyal, and Vathr'dal decided that the best way to show his loyalty was to join the LSDF. He chose to become a pilot, and became very proficient with the Hawk Fighter Bomber.

After completing his training, Vathr'dal was assigned to an LSDF cruiser as a pilot. His job was to shuttle the away teams to their objectives and back again. He enjoyed his time on the ship, but found difficulties with the crew. After a game of cards, Horizon's drunken wingman accused him of cheating, because the wingman could not rationalize that he had just been dealt a few poor hands. The wingman then proceeded to pull a knife on Vathr'dal, an the New Tur'lista made the poor choice of shooting his wingman. After a court marshall that he won through claiming self defense, The Matriarchy decided to push this mess under the rug. He wa re-assigned to the LSDF Akahar, where he would serve the same function as before, but on this smaller scavenger ship. He has made the best of it, however, and looks forward to his time on the Akahar.

A part of Vathr'dal's education was languages. He has a mastery of the Lorath language, he is fluent in Yamataian and Nepleslian, and can understand some Abwheran. Vathr'dal can also operate communication systems that use these languages. He also knows some basic cryptography.

His mother personally taught him the arts of diplomacy, sociology, psychology, and philosophy. He is capable of well-educated debate and persuasion. He also has a large amount of insight, so he has an easier time telling if people are lying to him. His open and friendly nature allows him to counsel people who are in need of it.

Vathr'dal's parents taught him extensively about history,law, and technology. He is very familiar with these areas as they pertain to Lorath, especially in the area of technology. He can recall facts about these subjects easily, and is always looking for new information to learn.

Vathr'dal has had a knack for technology from a young age. He is able to operate most of the technology of Lorath, especially spacecraft, and is familiar enough with the general workings of machinery to be able to understand new tech when given enough time to study it.

Vathr'dal's father taught him much about engineering. He is a very capable engineer, and he was even able to design his own cybernetic hands(although he had to get them surgically installed by a doctor). He can easily design simple electronics and machines, and is capable of creating more complex devices given enough time and resources.

Vathr'dal is a very good pilot, and is capable of driving any small spacecraft in the LSDF arsenal. He is particularly proficient with the Hawk fighter bomber, and has spent many hours training with that vehicle. He can also operate LSDF mecha and land vechicles to a degree.

Because of his affiliation with LSDF vehicles, Vathr'dal can fix most general problems on them with the proper resources and money. He is also able to repair and maintain electronic systems because of his ability with technology operation,and he can repair basic problems on the ship's structure and systems.
