Esmeralda has opted into multiple genetic augmentations, which made the exaggerated proportions of her body possible. She has a light skin tone, with platinum blonde hair, and light blue eyes, however, her eyebrows are light brown. Her eyebrows are always groomed to have perfect edges and a high arch. In proportion to the size and shape of her head, her eyes are large to the point of extremity, and they have a round shape. Esmeralda has a small nose and small, plump lips. Her face has a heart-shaped profile. She normally wears her hair long and in a pompadour style²⁾.

In contrast to her exotic and uncanny appearance, Esmeralda is a quiet, yet sweet and amiable woman. She is easy to trust, an trait which is augmented by her high-pitched and delicate voice. As a direct result of her training, she has a high emotional intelligence. She is rarely visibly angry or upset, however, her striking appearance is off-putting to some.

Her quiet personality and striking appearance makes her an ideal accomplice and spy, a trait which Psychopomp has taken advantage of.

Esmeralda Sinclair is the daughter of Robert Sinclair, a top Psychopomp executive. Her family was extremely wealthy, and she had the privilege of attending exclusive private schools throughout the course of her education. However, at the age of 10, she had grown past 5’11”, acquired extensive acne scarring, and an asymmetrical face. Her mental health had deteriorated by this time because of insecurity associated with her appearance, and she was willing to go through painful operations for changes to her appearance. She soon underwent her first series of cosmetic surgeries. She was happy with the results, but she developed an obsession with cosmetic surgery. Utilizing her father’s connections through Psychopomp genetics, Esmeralda underwent a major series of genetic modifications. Esmeralda requested a body with physically impossible proportions, and as a result, Esmeralda went through five different bodies until one was bioengineered extensively enough for it to remain healthy and strong enough for an extended lifespan (125 years). There were many bioengineering obstacles to overcome in the creation of Esmeralda’s new body, because her requested proportions were extreme and unrealistic. As such, extensive modifications were made to ensure that her body was practical and strong.

Soon after receiving her second body, Esmeralda’s father disappeared unexpectedly while on a business trip after his bank accounts were liquidated. With little money of her own, and no way to pay for her genetic operations, Esmeralda was forced into a contract with Psychopomp and was trained as a spy. While training was grueling and difficult, Esmeralda retained access to the resources of Psychopomp genetics, and as a result, she was able to receive three more bodies after requesting different specifications. Soon after she completed her training, she was assigned to work with Nomine Asakura as a spy.
