Build and Skin Color: In spite of her extremely modest height, Océane has a conspiciously plump bust and a full, shapely rear. Her skin-tone is creamy. Polite, perfectionist, shy, obedient, and pessimistic are terms that broadly define Océane's personality. Although she holds conservative political beliefs, the anti-synthetic lifeform biases ingrained into her by her parents are weaker than they once were, although she still maintains a worldview based around her old biases.

She is a dedicated spirtualist, and prays often to Haru, Ayaka, and Hinata, the agriculture, art, and sun kami respectively.

Océane Couture was born on Yamatai to a family of eight children, after the Third Elysian War and before the Fourth Elysian War. Her family’s residence was destroyed in both wars, prompting a move to the then-burgeoning colony world of Tatiana in YE 25, where her parents started a farming business. For some of her childhood and teenage years, Océane worked on the farm with her parents, although she found the work to be unstimulating and dry. At a young age, she learned calligraphy, and quickly became very skilled at it.

Raised by an extremely conservative family, Océane never obtained any body transfer procedures, as her family found the technology distasteful and spiritually corrupt.

After making repeated requests to her parents, Océane was allowed to go to a boarding secondary school in one of the many large and disc-like cities on the planet. It was there that she received her first mental backup. However, she was averse to receiving a body transfer, on account of her spiritual beliefs and family reputation. Regardless, Océane attained good grades in school, and she participated heavily in track and field and performance calligraphy. She became a stellar athlete, particularly in the sprinting and jumping competitions .

When she graduated from secondary school, her parents intended for her to return home to help run the family business. Her decision to enlist within the Star Army of Yamatai was driven by a desire to escape from the monotony of farm life and her tense relationship with her parents, on account of her decision to receive a mental backup and her shift away from conservative opinions, over the years.

Océane attended basic training at Fort Hajime, before attending specialization training for medicine.

• Physical: On account of years of experience in track and field athletics, particularly sprinting events such as the one-hundred and two-hundred meter dashes, Océane is fast and physically explosive. The muscles developed from the latter activities also imply exceptional strength and performance in the weight room, particularly regarding core and lower body exercises.
• Art and Vocations: Océane was raised on a farm, and as such, has an extensive background in agriculture and animal husbandry. However, she found farming to be a dry profession, therefore, it is not a skill that she cultivates. Océane was trained and educated in calligraphy as well.
