Build and Skin Color: Mache'lato is an average height and build for his species, however he is somewhat stronger then other Laibe due to intensive physical training. He has white body fur, black ears with red inner fuzz, and a black tail with a red tip.

Eyes and Facial Features: Mache'lato has bright orange eyes that seem to glow with an inner determination. He has otherwise a farely grizzled though unremarkable appearance

Ears: Lato has silky soft ears which are about as large as the average norm can get. Subconsciously when thinking deeply about a problem Lato tends to slightly twitch his ears. Though most people who weren't looking for it would not notice.

Hair Color and Style: Lato likes to keep his fur nicely trimmed. A symbol of his pride as a person he could be critisised for over-grooming himself. However as he always says “Take care of your body and it will always take care of you.”

Distinguishing Features: Has a habit of repeatedly clenching and unclenching his right fist in high stress situations.

Personality: Mache'lato generally has a fairly laid back and playful personality. However this does not mean that he is overly cheerful all the time. Once a situation that he deems serious crops up Lato shunts his emotions aside almost completely, a technique taught by his father, it allows him to view a situation objectively and without bias. The technique lead him to re-evaluate his thoughts on the dynamic between the Leibe and the Daur. He has yet to find where he stands on the issue though through habit he is still somewhat cold to the other species though it does not classify as hatred. The physical change itself is drastic, even from a neutral observers point of view you can fell that something seems fundamentally wrong with him in this state. He holds himself stiffer and straighter while turning a very cold and withering gaze on anybody in eyeshot.

Mache'lato is from a small but intensely competitive family. From a young age those born into the clan are encouraged to compete and out do each other and everyone else they meet. From this usually two differant products of this process. Those who are more physically minded tend to become fierce fighters, trained to overpower and outwit thei opponents. Those of a more scientific disposition train to think fast, learn fast and develop intuition in their chosen field. The family members respect those stronger then themselves. This does not neccesarily mean that you need to beat them in a formal challenge to out manouver a family member also will gain you respect within the clan.

Lato has been raised in the more physical sidevof the family. Along with his sliightly younger cousin studied the art of warfare under their grandfather who was a battle tactician before his retirement. Both passed with flying colours and immediately proceded to join the navy. Lato has a fair amount of experiance with repairing and maintaining combat gear, both his own and others. He has signed up onboard the SNV Gam'trosha as a weapons engineer, though in his case it is more the weapons then the engineer that is important.

Lato is adept at wielding bladed weapons of almost any type. He is also capable of utilising starship, fighter and personal weapons.

Lato can read and interpret maps and use other position determining devices to aid him in finding his way to new locations.

Lato came top of his graduating class in fighter training. He is not yet qualified to fly larger ships.

Lato has been trained to survive even in the most adverse of environments. He can survive when stranded in any climate that where it is physically possible for him to do so.

Lato can field repair fighter craft and most common vehicles. He is not qualified to service subsystems of larger vessels.
