Holding pen for the various species I'm thinking up for my 'Sleeping Giants' sector/plot.

Generally, the Sleeping Giants plot/setting/sector is about encountering things that are scary for Yamatai/Nep/etc in a controlled way. The theme is along the lines of Space Battleship Yamato, Homeworld, Heroic Age, and other 'dangerous journey' stories.

These things in mind, many of the species, etc, are meant to be challenging (if not insurmountable) to a talented crew and powerful ships.
