The Merlin is a trade hub owned by Iemochi Innovations & Sales based at the very edge of the Kodian home system, funneling products through the station to the Kodian home planet. Its secondary purpose is to research and understand the Kodian's well-known medical electronics and intricate cybernetics.

While it is a private facility, they occasionally let non-employees dock with the station however any problems the visitors cause will be dealt with under the company's discretion.
