Manufactured as a by-product of Genominus's 'Gene Alteration' experiments,the Lead-beetle is a thumb-sized bio-bullet designed for an all-round purpose.Despite their name,Lead beetles have little to no traces of lead,but they do have traces of osmium on their exo-skeletons,making them much more heavier than they look.They are oval-shaped and stout,which makes them similar to scarab beetles if not for their lead colored body.They do not eat a lot,provided that their main diet are iron and carbohydrates,and they will usually sleep if there is nothing else to do (Other than being shot from a W.B.R.M Gun).
