Data Cloth is a computer and energy storage system printed upon a high strength fabric that was developed in YE_40 for use in power armor, uniforms, and other weable technology.

Data Cloth is intended to be used as wearable electronics. It is made up of a sandwich of metallic fibers that provides a Faraday cage for protection of computer, storage, power, and sensors printed inside using photolthography and Kirigami. This creates an extremely thin, durable, computer system that is easily wearable.

The Data Cloth contains a variety of computer systems printed inside of the cloth. Data and Power ports can be added into the material so that they can be connected to other computers or power systems.

The data cloth contains the hardware for basic computing and data storage. Collectively a large amount of the cloth is about as capable as a conventional datapad.

Small capacitors are printed directly inside of the sandwhich of metalic fibers. Though they do not store a large amount of energy, they are capable of powering the computers and sensors in the material for an extended period of time without being recharged.

The cloth has a variety of sensors built in designed to monitor the health of the wearer. The sensors include:

Small sections of the Data Cloth contain isolated wireless power receivers and wireless data transmitter/receiver pairs. Because of the nature of these systems they can not be protected from electronic attack. They are isolated from the rest of the system, and designed to burn out and disconnected when under electronic attack. After being fried, they are unable to be repaired and require replacement but the damage is isolated to these components.
