The .45-70 Dallas is a rimmed brass cased center fire rifle cartridge with a 405 grain (26.2 g) lead-cored, copper-jacketed, and flat-nosed bullet developed by Dallas McClosky in YE 39 for use in the ranger Rifle. that he constructed. The ammunition is manufactured by dallas_mcclosky as well. It is a medium-length cartridge designed to deliver considerable stopping power without needed excessive size or interior propellant. The Cartridge and Round were designed with the Ranger in mind. While it is not currently mass produces it currently costs 1.70 DA to produce a single round.
The .45-70 Dallas currently only has the standard cartridge: a lead-cast, copper-jacketed, flat-head round with a regular brass case.
