It comes in two forms; pills, and an injectable liquid. ==== Pills ==== The pill form contains the same drug as the liquid, but it is in a slow release format and not as strong. It is commonly used to mediate low to medium levels of pain. It comes in prepackaged packs of 24. An adult dose is two pills, and bagli (children) should only take 1 unless under medical supervision. A dose will effectively reduce pain for about eight hours. ==== Liquid ==== The liquid form is for treating chronic pain, and must be administered by a medically trained person. Iasa luqar comes in prepackaged auto-injector ampules. One ampule is sufficient for a 100 kg patient. It takes approximately eight hours for the body to metabolize the drug.
