Designed by the LSDF to be used for the holding of large quantities of cargo on starships and in installations, the extra large cargo hold is the largest standard-model cargo hold available in LSDF designs, outside of custom-model designs which are installed on a case-by-case basis. Extra large cargo holds at minimum are ten meters in height, and occupy a minimum space of a one-hundred-twenty meter square. However, the average extra large cargo hold often is built to occupy two decks in height, allowing for a twenty meter tall space, with a floor space of a two-hundred-fifty meter square.
