This page describes the standard Security door used by the Poku Saeruo Degonjo ships and installations. This is the current version which entered service in 740 CY (YE 21).

Anomu Wunyte doors that hold are dual function doors. They serve as emergency containment barriers; keeping a compartment from losing atmosphere when the compartment next to it is voided. In the event of decompression they close automatically. Additionally these doors also serve to restrict access to a room. All doors on Poku Saeruo Degonjo ships are this style. Installations will install regular non-reinforced Wunytei doors. Normally at businesses, and residences in the Sotâka Ruomâqi (World Station).

Security doors have a control panel that manually operates the door. It requires that the person wishing to gain access have the correct authority to secure, unlock and open. The panel has a keypad for entering a code, a microphone used for voice prints, and to announce who is at the door to the occupants. It also has an optical scanner that can be used for retina scans if necessary. During normal ship operation, the control panel is connected to the ship's brain. Which uses which ever method of identification is required for the room to confirm that the person has the authority to enter. In the event of damage to the ship's brain, all door control pads default to keypad entry of the access code for the room. In the event of a power failure, the door has a Gianaka Gean (Fuel Cells) for emergency power to allow the door to cycle a maximum of six times.

The doors consist of two overlapping panels of Mâqirây (Bound Metal). They are deployed by pneumatic rods that hold them in place and locking mechanisms engage behind the rods to prevent them from retracting when the door is secured.
