The Tâvygoavyma is a Torpedo weapon system that the Poku Saeruo Degonjo has put back into service in 754 CY YE 35. It is launched by the Myora'ate Tâvygoavyma (Torpedo Launcher).
The HS-Z1 is an updated version of a design that was used before the loss of Otâgolisoy (Birth world). It is a self-guided projectile that can be redirected after launch. It is coated in electro-magnetic absorbent material to make its detection more difficult. The Tâvygoavyma only fires its engines for course changes or velocity adjustments.
The Clan used Tâvygoavyma before the Norka (The Exodus). The use of missiles fell from usage shortly after arriving here. Because resources were critical so the only weaponry used were energy ones, because they did not destroy valuable materials. Work on the redesign that became the HS-Z1 began after the Poku (Clan) entered an alliance with the Yamatai Star Empire. The Tâvygoavyma is intended to be used only on larger ships and installations.
The Tâvygoavyma is a slightly flattened cylinder with rounded ends. It is colored with standard clan paint. It has four plasma drives mounted on the aft, and there are four fins on the front which are antenna for updates. The front of the Tâvygoavyma is a darkened area which contains the sensors.

See Damage Rating (Version 3) for an explanation of the damage system.
Damage is per warhead.
This warhead is a high yield fusion explosion, it has a blast radius of 1km.
This warhead is designed to damage the shields of a ship. Used to soften a target's defenses so that other weapons can hit the target.
The Tâvygoavyma uses four modified Tinvymai Tyokame (Plasma Drives). These have no fuel capture system giving them a limited run time.
The Tâvygoavyma uses a pair of Iginâ Jodau'ta Fiqorka (Neuron Processor Module) for its guidance system.
The Tâvygoavyma is equipped with the following sensors for targeting.
The Tâvygoavyma uses a compact Gianaka Gean (Fuel Cells) for its power requirements.
The Tâvygoavyma uses the Meson and Radio systems from the Ta'te Goly Norjopa (Far Talking Systems). This allows inflight target changes, and self-destruct.
