A flip up panel that reveals control buttons and a display below the keyboard and 3 on the panel itself. The Wapointe Gean'te (Radiant Healing) is folded under the unit when stowed. The tip can be swapped out depending on the desired function. A panel opens on the base where the power cell is stored. The amber indicator shows the power cell status. The red indicator shows that the unit is turned on.
