An upgrade from the older model, this AF 260 (YE 31) model of six-barreled, Gatling Gauss Cannons was created to be a Squad Assist Weapon for Powered Armor. However, it is so effective at an Anti-Personnel Role that it is often used as stationary turrets for bases and even as secondary weapons on military ground vehicles. While placed on tripods as a stationary turret, the new Gatling Gauss Cannons are designed to be equipped to a Powered Armor's shoulder slot rather than being a hand held weapon.
