A large compartment used to hold all of a ships necessities. This includes food stores, huge reservoirs of water, replacement parts of various machines on board the vessel, processed materials for fabrication purposes, and ammunition stores for the various Parasite Craft on board the vessel.

It is normal to see Cargo Holds take up take up the majority of the bottom deck on small warships such as Destroyers and Frigates, while most Medium and Large Warships keep their Cargo Holds in the middle where all other important facilities have easy access to them via Freight Elevators.
