To call these 'corridors' is a bit of a stretch. Located in between proper decks¹⁾, Maintenance Corridors are one meter tall passages that contain equipment necessary to the function of the ship. However, the specific equipment run through these corridors is dependent upon whether the vessel is military or civilian in nature.

In civilian vessels, control runs, fiber optics, power cables, and life support dispensing systems are run through them. In military vessels, only life supporting systems are run through the maintenance corridors.

In both variants, however, space in the maintenance corridor is large enough for a male Abwehran to crawl upon their hands and knees.
