The Abwehran Dress Uniform is a formal military uniform used for special occasions and important events.

A black, double-breasted, jacket with a band collar¹⁾. It has a set of eight buttons across from each other in groups of four due to being a double-breast format. The Unit/Ship Patch is sewn onto the Jacket's Left Shoulder with the Abwehran Imperial Seal sewn on the Right Shoulder. Magnetic strips are sewn under the fabric of the right breast, which is used to attach campaign and award ribbons with medals normally pinned underneath. A name tag is sewn onto the left breast. The individual's rank patch is pinned to the collar of the jacket.

A pair of long, black slacks with just standard pockets around the hips and rear.

An ornate, cylindrical hat with a visor, the shako is worn with the Dress Uniform. The cylindrical part of the hat tapers near the top instead of standing perfectly straight and holds a metallic icon of the Abwehran Imperial Seal on the front. the black, rigid visor is normally polished to shine.
