The Ge-L7-S3400 was developed for the Ge-L7-1a Ekitai-Class Liquid Freighter Ship to protect it during harvesting from gas giants, it became available in YE 34.

The Ge-L7-S3400 is not a defensive shield, the system's purpose is to protect the ship from gravity stresses while operating in close proximity to a gas giant. It uses a series of graviton field emitters along each of the axises of the ship's hull to create a bubble of controlled gravity around the ship. It takes approximately thirty seconds for the protective bubble to be formed and stable.
